MOUNTAIN STUDY

SOLD

oil on panel, 5 1/2"  x  6 1/2"

Something I really love about paintings is the magic of how something as massive as a mountain can fit, with the whole feeling of its bulk, into something as small as a postcard.
In my mind's eye I walk the mountains and marvel at them.

Califonia's coastal fog pouring over the hills while the sun comes up

STORM PASSING

                                                 SOLD

$350
6"  x  13  1/4"
oak frame, made by the painter

A beautiful windy morning after a delightful, unseasonal rain.
Summer rains are particularly fragrant; water hitting hot rocks, sand, even cement -- I love that smell.
